Now’s the time to stop watching. This is the only clip I’ve watched and I won’t be watching any more moving forward, just to give myself a better moviegoing experience. With that said, the first clip has just been released for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and it is definitely action-packed.
In the new clip, we get a look at an expanded scene from the trailer of the good guys (Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Chewbacca, Threepio, and BB-8 ) all being chased on desert speeder bikes by First Order Troopers who have a new trick up their sleeve. If I had to make a guess, we could be looking at the opening scene of the film here. It would make sense. One of the biggest complaints is that the characters are never together in the last few films, so I can definitely see JJ Abrams deciding to answer that complaint immediately.
