I remember seeing Trainspotting in theaters with my parents. I loved it and they decided it was time to stop letting me pick the movie we go see. There’s been talk for a while now about bringing back the original cast to do a sequel and now we’ve got the first teaser for the film… even though there isn’t any new footage in it.
The teaser does boast a May 2016 shooting date, Janurary 2017 release date in the UK and the return of the original cast. However, the cast listing on the teaser only promises the return of Renton (Ewan McGregor,) Spud (Ewen Bremmer), Sick Boy (Johnny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). There’s no mention of Kevin McKidd, who played Tommy.
