The first teaser just dropped for the next chapter in the Halloween Saga. Unfortunately, calling this sequel advanced might be a little of an understatement. The new film, which once again stars Jamie Lee Curtis, is not slated to hit theaters until October 21, of 2021.
The new film which is part of a trilogy directed by David Gordon Green and written by Danny McBride and Scott Teems, will bring back Curtis along with Judy Greer and Andi Matichak as her daughters. They’ll be joined by Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens, Charles Cyphers, Anthony Michael Hall, and Robert Longstreet. The new film was supposed to be filmed alongside the third film in the revival, Halloweeen Ends, but COVID has a funny way of messing with everyone’s plans. So, while they weren’t filmed back-to-back, the studio promises that it will be coming, probably in 2022.
