When you name a film “Epic” your butt better be able to cash the check that your mouth just wrote. Does the first trailer for Epic do that? I’m not sure. The fact that there was almost no voice representation in a nearly two minute trailer seems weird. Still, the animation looks solid and the potential provided by a voice cast of Beyonce Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried and Johnny Knoxville sounds interesting to say the least.
I’m sure we’ll see more very soon. However, we won’t see the whole film until it opens… in 3D on May 24th, 2013.
