Two of the greatest actors from Doctor Who are set to star in a new BBCA mini-series that is very reminiscent of A&E’s The Killing.
Deadline is reporting that the series will air on ITV in The UK starting in the beginning of March and then will air later in the year as part of BBCA’s Dramaville line up.
I’m just excited to see Arthur Darvill and David Tennant finally get a chance to act together on the same screen.
We don’t know much about the story, just that Deadline says that it is reminiscent of The Killing. Here’s the official synopsis:
The murder of a young boy in a small coastal town brings a media frenzy, which threatens to tear the community apart.
You’ll notice in the trailer that it looks like the show is all David Tennant all the time. I’m hoping that’s true, but there’s a little seed of doubt after checking out the IMDB listing for the mini series.
Arthur Darvill is listed as appearing in all six episodes, but next to David Tennant, it just says “unknown episodes.”
