I’m more than a little worried that PIXAR is not involved in this movie. Well, that and the fact that this was going to originally be direct to DVD and that it is a spin off of Cars and Cars 2, which weren’t exactly proud moments for Pixar. Still, who knows… Toy Story 2 was originally set for Direct to DVD and that turned out great.

Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
