Terry Gilliam has created some of the weirdest and most memorable movies in cinematic history from Monty Python and The Holy Grail to The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Brazil, and 12 Monkeys. Now, the filmmaker is back with “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.”
The trailer is interesting, but as with any Gilliam film, very confusing, so it’s good to know a little about the story before you are going in. The movie stars Adam Driver as an advertising exec who is being pulled back and forth between 21st century London and 17th century La Mancha, where Don Quixote (Jonathan Pryce) mistakes him for Sancho Panza.
