First Trailer For ‘The Loser’ Debuts

The trailer for the film adaptation to DC/Vertigo’s “The Losers” starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, and Zoe Saldana has hit the net courtesy of MSN Movies.

For those not familiar, “The Losers” is is about a group of U.S. Special Forces (Black Ops) that were were betrayed by their handler, Max, and left for dead following the conclusion of their operation.

Having been a huge fan of the original mini series I had high hopes for this film. But I am afraid to say that I’m not liking this trailer at all. It’s almost too comical and “fun.” Although it is nice to see that they’ve kept several scenes from the comics, but still… “The Losers” was always a much more serious/black ops type of story, with humor as a second priority. I think a lot is lost when it’s branded and marketed as a “fun action movie.”
