Will Smith is busier than he’s been in years. Along with the upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin which has him playing The Genie, he’s got a new Bad Boys film on the way (That’ll be in the next post), and this animated spy film in which he plays both a spy and a pigeon. OK, I guess they are still the same character, but Smith’s super spy looks like he’ll be spending a good chunk of the story as a rat with wings. Along with Smith, the film stars an impressive cast that includes Tom Holland, Ben Mendelsohn, Karen Gillan, Rashida Jones, DJ Khaled, and Masi Oka.
Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is… not.
