The world wasn’t particularly asking for it, but MGM is giving us a new reboot for the Child’s Play horror franchise. After all, who doesn’t need a little more Chucky in their life, especially now that we live in a world where even adults are buying robotic play pals…
The most interesting thing about the new film is that it stars Aubrey Plaza as the unwitting mother who buys a Buddi doll for her son. Joining her in the film are Brian Tyree Henry, Gabriel Bateman, Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio, and Carlease Burke.
You can check out the trailer below and you can see the film when it opens, ironically, June 21st, the same day as Toy Story 4.
