It looks like JJ Abrams may have pulled a Whedon. While everyone was paying attention to the giant tentpole movie that he directed, he was secretly making another film on the sly. For Whedon, it was Much Ado About Nothing which he filmed at his own home after completing The Avengers. For Abrams, it looks like he managed to somehow find time after Star Wars: The Force Awakens to pull off a sequel to Cloverfield.
The movie, which comes out in March, stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher Jr. While the film may not be a traditional sequel to the monster flick, Abrams is calling it a “Blood Relative.”
