After several months of hearing about it on the convention circuit, director Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead remake has finally released its first trailer.
Fans of the old movies will be happy to see Deadites, the Necronomicon, and even the Tree Assault.
So far, the new trailer gives me a lot of hope, but we won’t really know how good it is until its release on April 12th, 2013.

Official Synopsis:
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
