The first trailer for Nichelodeon’s reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles popped online today. It is set to start running on TV tomorrow during the 1 hour season finale of The Legend of Korra. Kids are going to love the new series… people who grew up on the turtles, may have a different take.
I have trouble not being the old man telling everyone to get off my lawn, so I can’t help but look at this new series with a bit of a pre-determined stink eye. Still, I can see why they tweaked it the way they did. I’m not sure why the turtles need to have voices that are nearly a full octave higher than the ones we grew up with, I guess kids today need something a little more androgynous.
With that said, it does look like Nickelodeon has captured the personalities of the characters pretty well. Check it out and let us know what you think.
