The first trailer is out for the new prequel to Peter Pan starring Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, the pirate who first brings Levi Miller’s Peter Pan to Neverland, and Garrett Hedlund as Hook.
I’m always up for a good Peter Pan story. After all, Hook was a great film. That said, it looks like they’ve gone and “Wickedized” another classic story. This time we’ll get to see Hook transform from a hero to the infamous baddie he was destined to become.
The film also stars Levi Miller as Peter Pan, Garrett Hedlund as Hook, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, Amanda Seyfried as Mary, as well as Adeel Akhtar, Jack Charles, Taejoo Na, Nonso Anozie, Kathy Burke, Kurt Egyiawan, Lewis Macdougall, and Leni Zieglmeier.
Pan opens in theaters on July 17, 2015.
