The mobile game sensation Five Nights at Freddy’s has finally made the jump to the big screen… kind of. With the pandemic officially over and movies back to doing big business, it says a lot about a studio’s expectation for a film when they release it day and date in both theaters and on streaming.
The new film comes from Blumhouse and Universal and stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard. We’ll get plenty more looks at the film between now and the fall when it lands in both theaters and on Peacock on October 27th.
