Fox is close to finalizing a deal for a Steven Spielberg-produced adaptation of the comic book series “Locke & Key” written by Joe Hill and published by IDW Publishing.
“Locke & Key” will be adapted by Josh Friedman who will also serve as showrunner according to Deadline.
“Locke & Key” tells of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them, and home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all!
Friedman, Kurtzman, Orci, Spielberg and DreamWorks TV’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank are executive producing along with IDW CEO Ted Adams.
