‘Fraggle Rock’ Reboot Headed to Apple+

It’s been 30 years since we’ve visited Fraggle Rock, but Apple+ TV has announced that we’re going back down to see what the Doozers have been up to with a new series for the streaming network.

the new series will be a collection of mini-sodes that will actually be available by the time we publish this post. In an interesting side-note, the new show was “shot on iPhone 11 phones from the homes of the production team and individual artists from all over the U.S.” We don’t know if that means they’ve created new episodes just to fill content needs during what’s going on, or what. All we know is that there’s a new Fraggle Rock out and we are excited as hell to watch it.

“The beloved stars of the classic ’80s series — Gobo, Red, Boober, Mokey, Wembley and Uncle Traveling Matt — join together again for new stories and classic Fraggle songs that show everyone how we are all connected through friendship. While the Fraggles might be in different parts of the Fraggle Rock caves, they can still find ways to have fun together, with music, silliness, special guests, and of course the help of devices created by the industrious Doozers — lovingly called the Doozertubes!”
