Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy was delayed so many times during the Pandemic that the cast started making jokes online about it. Now that vaccines are out there and things are opening back up, Free Guy is officially set to hit theaters on August 13th. To celebrate, Fox just dropped a new poster and trailer for the film that is filled with almost entirely new footage and a much bigger tease of the film’s plot.
Free Guy looks like a lot of fun and a definitely unique take on the video game movie genre. It’s not the first time Reynold’s has been involved in a movie that looks at life inside a video game, check out The Nines if you haven’t already seen it.
Joining Reynolds in the film are Jodi Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi
