I bet you’re wondering what new news can we bring about M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender” now that we’ve all seen the poster, the teaser, and the toys… Well how about the full theatrical trailer?
“The Last Airbender” is loosely based on the 64-episode Nickelodeon cartoon, which blended tradition Japanese animation with US animation. While it has been under scrutiny for being “white washed” and stripped of all things Asian, there’s no doubt that it still has some of the look and feel of the original. While I’m not impressed yet, it has the potential to be something truly awesome. Let’s just hope Shyamalan doesn’t screw it up.
“The Last Airbender” hits theaters on July 2nd.
