After years of development towards both the big and small screen, Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s Y: The Last Man is now headed to TV as an FX series called ‘Y.’ The show is set to air sometime in 2020 and stars Barry Keoghan as Yorick, Diane Lane, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield, Marin Ireland, and Amber Tamblyn.
Interestingly, the IMDB page for the series mentions the appearance of several other male characters played by Timothy Hutton, Sanjit De Silva, Dante DiGiorgio, John DiGiorgio, Michael Harkins, Christian Keiber, Kennedy Moronta, Femi Olagoke, William Rose, and Benjamin Thys. We are sure that some of these actors will probably be there for scenes in the pilot that happen before the epidemic strikes. As to whether the others will be used in frequent flashbacks or something else is yet to be known. After all, they did change the name of the show from Y: The Last Man to just Y. Maybe he won’t be the last man in this version.
