Last week, there was a rumor that Gal Gadot was refusing to move forward with the sequel to Wonder Woman if Brett Ratner was involved with it. The funny thing is that most fans didn’t even know that Ranter had any part in the film, but it was his company that produced the first movie.
This morning, while promoting Justice League on NBC’s The Today Show, Gadot addressed the situation and removed any doubt that we’d be seeing her suit up again by announcing that Ratner was no longer involved in the Wonder Woman sequel.
“The truth is, there’s so many people involved in making this movie. It’s not just me, and they all echoed the same sentiments. So everyone knew what the right thing to do, but there was nothing for me to say because it was already done before this article came out,” Gadot said.
Wonder Woman 2 is currently set to hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
