The Battle of Winterfell is drawing near with the premiere of Game of Thrones’ final season set for April 14th on HBO. Today we got a new trailer for the final season which will consist of six, movie-style episodes in which many of your favorite characters are probably going to die. As to exactly what is going to happen, no really knows, but co-executive producer Bryan Cogman has said that the final season “is about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death. It’s an incredibly emotional haunting bittersweet final season and I think it honors very much what [author George R.R. Martin] set out to do — which is flipping this kind of story on its head.”
Tune-in to HBO for their biggest finale since The Sopranos when Game Of Thrones returns for a final season on April 14th with Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maisie Williams, Gwendoline Christie, and Peter Dinklage.
