Gangster Squad Pushed Back Due To Batman Shooting

Gangster Squad, the 1940’s era gangster film starring Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Emma Stone was supposed to hit theaters on Sep 7th, but Warner Bros is pushing the film back to January 11th to allow for some re-shoots in the wake of last week’s movie theater shooting. The film included a scene where a mobster shot up a crowd in a movie theater. It has been decided that it would be in poor taste for that scene to remain in the film.

Ironically, that scene was included in a trailer for the film that was attached to The Dark Knight Rises.
