Adult Swim has just dropped a new trailer for Primal, the new cartoon from Samurai Jack/ Hotel Transylvania creator, Genndy Tartakovsky. If you couldn’t already guess, the new show looks dark and brutal. It has the same kind of little to no dialogue style as Samurai Jack and it looks like they aren’t afraid to show more than a little blood as the main character and his pet tyrannosaurus rex do what it takes to survive. One commenter on the YouTube posting for the video rightly described the vibe as, “Far Cry Primal+ Samurai Jack+ Epic Paleolithic monsters.” If you need more than that to stop and take a look, you might be broken inside.
Along with the new trailer, Adult Swim announced that the show will make its debut in a 5-night event starting on October 7th at midnight.
