We aren’t really sure that this is a huge surprise, but Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson have both now confirmed that they are in the new Ghostbusters 2020 reboot from Jason Reitman. We already knew that Sigourney Weaver would be coming back for the film, and she did tell fans that she wouldn’t be the only one. It’s also been confirmed that Annie Potts would be back to reprise her role as Janine Melnitz. This leaves Bill Murray who is listed as rumored to be in the film on IMDB and Rick Moranis, who has been largely absent from Hollywood since the early 2000’s (He’s been raising his children in Canada and also putting out occasional comedy albums)
Aykroyd confirmed his involvement in an appearance on The Joe Rogan Show a couple of days ago, while Hudson made the announcement directly to a fan in a Cameo vid. Cameo is a service in which you can pay various celebrities a set fee to have them send you a personalized video message. If you’d like Ernie Hudson to send you a message on Cameo, it will set you back $135. That’s pretty reasonable when you consider that Caitlyn Jenner is charging $3,000. You can check out the Cameo vid HERE.
