We aren’t sure why, but Columbia Pictures has decided that the world needs a sequel to Nicolas Cage’s “Ghost Rider.” They even started talking to David Goyer about helping to craft the story. He hasn’t signed off on it just yet, but according to his reps, Goyer wrote a script for the spirit of vengeance several years ago. As we all know, this wouldn’t be his first hero flick as he’s also the mind behind Batman Begins and Blade.
There are some people who think that this move mirrors all the other non-Disney studios that have Marvel licenses and just want to squeeze as much out of them as they can before the licenses go back to the house of mouse.
