Man, and I was really getting excited about seeing this one. Looks like now we’ll have to wait an extra year. Word came out today that GI Joe: Retaliation, which was originally slated for a June 29th release is now being pushed back by Paramount until March 29th, 2013. According to the studio, the delay is so that they can try and not suck at the 3D conversion.
“It is increasingly evident that 3D resonates with movie-goers globally and together with Paramount, we made the decision to bring fans an even more immersive entertainment experience,” said Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s President and CEO in an official statement.
GI Joe: Retaliation stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson.
