Father/Son acting duo, Kurt Russell And Wyatt Russell are heading over to AppleTV+ for a new Godzilla TV series. While Wyatt recently appeared as John Walker/US Agent in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+, Kurt hasn’t appeared on the small screen since the 70s when he popped up on the original Hawaii Five-O. Still, the Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 star will be coming back to expand on the Monsterverse for Apple’s streaming network.
We don’t know whether they’ll be playing father and son, or if Wyatt will be featured in flashbacks as a younger version of Kurt. All we do know is that the series will take place after “the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real,” and it will revolve around “one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.”
Joining the Russells in the new show are a growing ensemble cast that includes Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.
