Movies and TV weren’t the only news to drop at Fandome today. The long-awaited next Batman video game from WB Games Montreal, maker of Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Origins finally debuted Gotham Knights, a Batman game that will apparently not actually have Batman. Why? Well, because he’s dead. Well, he’s dead until we find out at the end of the game that he’s not. In the meantime, he’s leaving the city in the capable hands of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin.
Together, and on solo missions, they’ll take on countless baddies, big time villains like Mr. Freeze, and the over-arching antagonists of the whole story, The Court of Owls,
Batman is dead. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos. Your legacy begins now. Step into the Knight.
