If you’ve been watching Gotham, then you’ve had a chance to see Clare Foley as the girl who will grow up to be Poison Ivy. She’s not been in a ton of episodes, but she’s strange and creepy and great in the role. Oh, she’s also been recast. That’s right, it’s now being reported by TVLine that the show will be expanding the role of Ivy, but they’ll be doing it with a new actress.
As it turns out they’ll be moving her character along from twisted child to a fully formed villain. To do so, they’ll be casting an actress in her late 20’s.
Along with the expanded role for Poison Ivy in the show, season 3 will also see the TV introductions of Vicki Vale, the Court of Owls, Talon aka William Cobb, and Solomon Grundy.
