We’ve known for a while now that a big part of the story for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. would involve Peter Quill’s dad (Kurt Russell), but now we’ve got a little more confirmation that we’ll probably be seeing, at least, Thor and The Hulk in the film. I’d love to maybe even see Nova or Captain Marvel, but I’m not going to hold my breath. From the sound of it, it also feels like we might be seeing the team make an uneasy alliance with Nebula or Yondu. I just wish we could finally get some Adam Warlock and Silver Surfer action in the mix, but I guess FOX isn’t going to let that happen.
Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
