The Simpsons are getting ready to premier their annual Treehouse of Horror episode this weekend. I can’t believe it is already up to the 24th edition, though it makes sense with the show just getting renewed today for a 26th season.
Anyways, for this year’s show, they got Guillermo Del Toro to direct the title sequence. I’m not sure if the full 3 minute version will make it to TV, but Fo’x Animation Domination channel on YouTube has posted it all for us to check out.
It went up yesterday afternoon and already has over 2.5 million hits.
The couch gag opening of The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horror” episode this weekend was created by Guillermo del Toro and is three minutes long. You may have to watch it twice: once to enjoy it, and once again to see how many horror movie references you can spot, because it’s chock full of them!
