After the lights come up at the end of Avengers: Endgame, we now know that one more Avenger will carry on with new adventures on the soon to launch Disney+ network. Along with series for Scarlet Witch/ Vision, Loki, and Winter Soldier/ Falcon, Variety is announcing that Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye will also find a home on the streaming network.
Don’t assume that the news means Clint Barton will survive the upcoming showdown with Thanos. For all we know, the show could focus on his early career for SHIELD or even his five years between the snap and Endgame. Some reports, however, do point to the show focusing on Hawkeye passing the torch to Kate Bishop. This hasn’t been confirmed and it would be surprising if Marvel would let that kind of detail slip out.
We’ll know one way or the other when Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters on April 26th.
