Variety reports that Salma Hayek has signed on to play Sandler’s wife in his new, yet-to-be-named Sony comedy that already includes former Saturday Night Live stars Colin Quinn and Maya Rudolph.
Joining Hayek will be some of Sandler’s comedic friends that include: Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider. Many of whom were also former performers on SNL.
Sandler’s new movie will begin shooting this summer and is about five high school best friends who reunite 30 years after graduating. While the premise is anything but original, the all-star comedic cast has many excited whether they’re fans of SNL or Sandler.
