If you’ve been wondering why we haven’t seen a trailer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot that supposed to hit theaters in January, there’s a pretty good reason. Summit Entertainment has now announced that the film, which stars Stranger Things’ David Harbour, will now be pushed back from January 11, 2019 until April 12, 2019.
Interestingly, the R-Rated comic book movie has moved into a very popular slot and will now be released against Robert Downey Jr’s The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle as well as Warner Bros’ Shazam! (starring Zachary Levi). The good news is that it sounds like the studio has faith in the film. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have put it up against another comic book movie.
Joining Harbour in the film are Mila Jovovich, Ian McShane is, and Daniel Dae Kim.
*Note: With NYCC just around the corner, don’t be surprised if we get our first trailer for the film inside the next 10 days.
