After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, fans were wondering how Loki could possibly have his own show. Well, now we know and it, thankfully, does NOT spoil Endgame. Thanks to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, we now have some big new details about the upcoming series for the Disney+ streaming network.
First up, we know that the show finally has a showrunner in Rick and Morty’s Michael Waldron. Along with acting as the showrunner and executive producer of the series, he’ll also be writing the pilot.
As far as the earlier rumors that had Tom Hiddleston only participating in the show a narrator, this new report seems to prove that untrue. According to THR, Hiddleston will be the star of the show and “the show will follow Loki as the trickster and shapeshifter pops up throughout human history as unlikely influencer on historical events.”
