We know very little about Star Wars: Episode IX other than the fact that JJ Abrams has returned to direct, Carrie Fisher will appear via old footage from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, and that the movie will supposedly end the Skywalker saga. Beyond that, we don’t even know the film’s title. The one thing we know for sure today is that filming on the movie has completed and JJ Abrams has taken to Twitter to mark the occasion with a touching group hug between film stars: Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac.
Don’t expect to get too much more info on the film until Star Wars Celebration comes to Chicago, later this Spring. Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters this December.
