Funny thing, as I’m writing this story, an alert just popped up that the title may have been leaked. For the sake of helping people stay spoiler free, I’ll post that separately.
Anyway, we’ve got some interesting details about the next couple of Avengers flicks recently. Along with learning that the films are no longer being shot simultaneously (Infinity War is shooting now and Avengers 4 starts in August), we’ve also just learned that there will be some recognizable story elements from the original Infinity Gauntlet storyline making it’s way into the movie. According to Kevin Feige:
“[His motives] will be similar to what they were in the Infinity Gauntlet in various ways. I guess that’s all I can say about that.”
One thing we still don’t know is title for “Untitled Avengers 4.” While that has not been announced, we at least now know why. According to Feige, the title itself is a spoiler for “Infinity War.” He also noted that they are not two parts of a large story, but two completely different movies.
What does that mean? My guess is that we’ll be seeing a radically different Avengers Line-up in the 4th outing of the franchise.
