Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in action and has tweeted this photo of himself from the set of director Lionsgate’s and Kim Jee-Woon’s “The Last Stand.” Joining him in the shot are Luis Guzman, Johnny Knoxville and Jaimie Alexander.
“The Last Stand” tells the story of the leader of a drug cartel in Mexico who tries to smuggle drugs to the Mexican border but comes face to face with the 63-year-old former “Governator” will star as Sheriff Owens.
Lionsgate will produce with a screenplay written by Andrew Knauer.
“The Last Stand” is set for release in 2012 and also stars Zach Gilford, Forest Whitaker, Rodrigo Santoro, Eduardo Noriega, Peter Stormare, Harry Dean Stanton and Genesis Rodriguez.
