On February 26th, Netflix is set to unleash their latest genre series with a coming of age tale about a teenage girl filled with angst and emerging superpowers. In the new series, Sophia Lillis, plays a girl who is dealing with adolescence, the loss of her father, anger issues, and the fact that she suddenly seems to have developed telepathic abilities.
The premise is promising, and the fact that it comes from the team behind “The End of The Fucking World” and some of the producers of Stranger Things helps. We’ll know if it sticks the landing when it premies in just a couple of weeks.
