‘Ice Age 4: Continental Drift’ Will Drift Its Way Into Theatres In 2012

File this under the franchise that’ll never die. “Ice Age,” the popular animated franchise about prehistoric talking mammals with attitudes is returning in an all new film in 2012.

Tentatively titled “Ice Age 4: Continental Drift,” I’m just going to skip this fourth film and wait until Fox and Blue Sky make “Ice Age 5: The Extinction.” Not much else is known about this film other than the fact that it’ll be in 3D… which isn’t much of a surprise.

“Ice Age 4” is expected to drop sometime in July of 2012 amidst a very busy year choked full of much better movies (Batman 3, Avengers, Star Trek 2).

It’s expected that all the original voice actors will return: Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo and Queen Latifah.
