James Cameron has briefly commented on “Avatar 2,” providing some new detail about the film. At this stage, there isn’t much to expect, but what we do know now is that “Avatar 2” won’t be called “Avatar 2.”
This makes perfect sense according to Cameron because Sam is no longer an avatar, so it would be illogical for a sequel to have Avatar in the title.
“Maybe we’ll call it Na’vi,” said Cameron.
Whatever the sequel is called I don’t think it’ll matter to much the fans. With the success of “Avatar” and his last tremendously successful sequel in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” in James Cameron we’ll always trust.
