At 78 years old, Harrison Ford is back on set, punching Nazis, or whomever might be the bad guy in his new film, but now it looks like they will have to shift the production around a little bit thanks to an injury that happened during a fight rehearsal for the new film. Disney has released the following statement:
“In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”
So, while Ford might be laid up for a couple of days, Director James Mangold can still film scenes with Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thomas Kretschmann, and Shaunette Renee Wilson.
In the new film, Mikkelsen will be playing a Nazi turned NASA official helping the US Government get to the moon, or is he? Rumors have the Hannibal star playing the film’s antagonist. We’ll find out when Indy 5 hits theaters on July 29, 2022.
