Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds is heading to compete at Cannes this year. Not like it’s any surprise since Tarantino once chaired the Cannes jury and has screened just about every single one of his movies from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction to Death Proof.
The Cannes screening will come three months ahead of its August release date. This normally assures us two things. One, Tarantino is proud of his film and it’s on schedule for a national release. Two, this movie is going to kick all kinds of ass.
The Cannes Festival will run from May 13 to the 24.
