There’s a new rumor afoot in the Star Wars universe today, this time about Ewan McGregor and Obi Wan Kenobi. Word is that Disney is currently talking to McGregor about coming back for anywhere from 1-3 new movies with the aim of delving into Obi Wan’s post Episode III adventures. That would mean that it could open up a big window to bring the Rebels crew into the live action realm.
Here’s the rumor:
“the film (or films) would focus on Obi-Wan’s adventures between the two trilogies as he watches over a maturing Luke Skywalker. The film(s) would be standalone adventure(s), with the possibility of characters like Owen Lars and Darth Maul appearing.”
