Xbox360Achievements has revealed new details and images from the upcoming hyper-realistic “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” video game being developed by Red Fly Studio. While “Out of the Shadows” is not being marketed as an adaptation of Michael Bay upcoming live-action TMNT film, you can’t help but speculate whether the game design and models are influenced by the new film.
The turtles are unlike any rendition we’ve seen before and they feature more distinct human characteristics that goes in hand with how studio insiders are describing Bay’s new turtle design. Humanoid, yet still reptilian. It probably also makes sense that they now how nostrils, no matter how bizarre and un-TMNT like they may make them look.
“Out of the Shadows” is described as a “true-to-life” four player co-op that takes place mainly in the sewer as well as six other areas around/in New York City. Each player will get a chance to play as any of the four Ninja Turtles through a series of missions and side missions as well as a challenge mode.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on June 26th.
