There’s a big rumor floating around the net today. It is looking more and more like X-MEN APOCALYPSE and WOLVERINE 3 will be the end of Bryan Singer’s X-Men universe. It makes sense, given that Wolverine 3 will mark the end of Hugh Jackman’s Tenure on the role… and it’s not like you could recast him and keep the same universe hopping along.
The rumor comes to us from Umberto Gonzalez, formerly of Latino Review and now of his Instagram account until he launches a solo project.
Anyways, it should be a good ride to the end. Then, they’ll probably start it over or beg Marvel to play nice again so they can join the MCU… only time will tell.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
