J. Michael Straczynski Soul Crushingly Denies ‘Babylon 5’ Come Back Rumor

Yesterday, we wrote about a possible “Babylon 5” come back that was teased by actor Walter Koenig at the Las Vegas Star Trek convention. It looks as if the regular “Babylon 5” guest star may have misspoken because Michael Straczynski isn’t working on bringing “Babylon 5” back as a new series or a featured film after all.

When asked for a comment on Twitter, JMS responded:

“Walter misspoke: I am not in negotiations with WB to develop more Babylon 5.”

And thus in a roller coaster of emotions, all hopes of dreams of Babylon geeks everywhere are crushed. We’ll speak no more of this so we can all finally heal.
