Writer/director James Gunn just tweeted the first official trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ supervillain adventure (with heart), “The Suicide Squad.”
This redband trailer gives us our first look at the tone of this new installment and as expected, it’s seemingly very “Guardians of the Galaxy” like. It’s hard to say whether this will be better than the 2016 original by David Ayer, but who are we kidding, it most likely will be given Gunn’s pedigree with raunchy heart felt superhero adventures.
“The Suicide Squad” will feature a new cast of degenerates that include Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, and Javelin.
Look for it debut in theaters on August 6th and then on HBO Max after a month.
