Jason Patric Cast In Lead Role For FX’s ‘Powers’

There are still a lot of fans grumbling to themselves off in a corner about Katie Sackoff not getting cast in the FX network adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis’ ‘Powers’. There is a good chance that they will be happier about the new announcement that Jason Patric will be playing the lead role of Detective Christian Walker.

Around Wookie Central, there was still a little hope that Karl Urban might take the role. That hope is now gone. In a lot of ways, the casting is disappointing, but many people felt the same way when they heard about the casting for The Walking Dead. Now, it is considered one of the most anticipated returnign series of the fall.

We’ll withhold our judgment until we get to see some actual footage. For now, we’ll cross our fingers and hope for the best.
